Seven Wonders of Ukraine

In 2007, a public contest was held in which members of an expert committee, consisting of journalists, politicians, tourism professionals and others, compiled a list of historical and cultural monuments in Ukraine. That list was then narrowed down to the seven most popular candidates by an online vote in which everyone could participate. The result is a collection of seven major tourist attractions in the country. In 2008, another vote determined the Seven Natural Wonders of Ukraine.
